Endoscopic Lift
Endoscopic lifts can
be used on various areas of the face. It is a minimally invasive
procedure that involves four to six short (one inch or less)
incisions. Through these small incisions, your plastic surgeon
inserts an endoscope which has a tiny camera on the end which monitors
the activity of the long, narrow surgical instruments inserted through
the other incisions. Through this technique, your plastic surgeon will
be able to do many of the procedures that have traditionally been
performed with longer incisions.
Some
of the advantages of endoscopic lifts are less scarring, less trauma to
the face and body, and less chance of infection. The recovery
time for endoscopic lifts is generally shorter than for traditional
procedures.
Dr. John Hoffmann is highly
skilled in all areas of endoscopic facial plastic surgery. During
your private consultation you will find out whether an endoscopic
procedure is right for you.
