Dr. Cantlon received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska. His internship was completed at Deaconess Hospital here in Spokane before entering the Army to serve as a Brigade surgeon. Upon completion of his Army service, Dr. Cantlon continued his medical education with two residencies in Cincinnati - one in general surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital and the other in otolaryngology at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He then moved his family to Spokane to join Spokane Ear Nose & Throat Clinic.

Board certified in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, Dr. Cantlon specializes in pediatric patients, especially those with upper airway disorders, although he sees both pediatric and adult general ENT patients also.
