Dr. Karen Ahlstrom is an Otolaryngologist practicing general Ear, Nose and Throat medicine including diseases of the airway, thyroid and head and neck cancers, nasal and sinus ailments, and allergies.  Dr. Ahlstrom has a special emphasis on pediatric ear nose and throat concerns. 

Dr. Ahlstrom received her undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota. Prior to medical school, she worked as a registered nurse in a pediatric intensive care unit for several years. She subsequently attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, where she obtained her medical degree. She continued on with residency training in Otolaryngology at the University of New Mexico and is Board Certified in general Otolaryngology.
